Central Manobo Bible Churches Association of Mindanao, Inc.
Central MABCAM Central Manobo Bible Churches Association of Mindanao, Inc. is a registered Indigenous Christian Organization. Central MABCAM is considered as one of the minorities among the Christian group that is called to empower Manobo people to participate in ushering in of God’s shalom throughout the Central Mindanao and beyond. Apparently, there are six major cultural identities emerging who have been forbearingly worked as one to make this organization come into existence. These identified cultural groups are Matigsalug, Tigwahanon, Kulamanon, Pulangihon, Umayamnon, and some areas of Teduray.
VISION
Central MABCAM sees itself moving towards the vast and wider context in the entire Philippines, carrying on a ministry and witness of declaring, articulating, and ordaining the Gospel of hope and assurance to both church members and the greater community such as creating connection and relationship through national and international partnership.
MISSION
To reach out and transform Manobo communities to be responsible, empowered, community self-reliant and most of all to be sensitive of their faith as Christian believers. Furthermore, Central MABCAM is committed to the pursuit of a transformed church, affluent community, and meaningful life for the Manobo Brethren. Establishing a firm foundation of faith through the proclamation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and towards the transformation of the Manobo brethren, and the upliftment of socio-economic aspects.
